OK here is the recipe:
1# dry Pintos
1-29 oz can chicken broth
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 fresh jalapeno pepper, chopped
1/2 cup green salsa
1 t cumin
1/2 t black pepper
Put beans and other ingredients in pot. Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium low and cook 2 hours, stirring often, until beans are tender.
