Topic: Issues with Magpul Gen M3 PMAGS?

I recently purchased 4 M3 PMAGS (2 20 and 2 30). It appears they are out of spec and will not fit in certain upper/lower/bcg combos (they fit my PWS with the "enhanced" bcg but not in my other standard DI AR).  Basically they are too long, ie the distance between the mag catch and the upper portion of the lips.

Anyone else having these issues? I have emailed magpul and am waiting to hear back from them.

Maybe your lower is out of spec

I think I have some Gen3 still in the wrapper.  My original ones I bought years ago are still running great

ya my older pmags are ok, just seems to be the new gen 3 ones that are a bit long

and after doing more research (arfcom) it seems it is a tolerance stack issue between certain bolt carriers and the gen 3 mags which seem to be a little on the long side...

I had an issue with Pmags not working with my polymer lower, but the Troy and Tapco mags working very well.
